🏪 Setting Up Your Store on OutboardBits
Your store is your shop front.
If it looks right and has the right info, you’ll sell more—simple as that.
⚙️ Step 1: Go to Store Settings
From your vendor dashboard:
Dashboard → Settings → Store
In WCFM Marketplace, this is where you control how your store looks and what customers see.
🏷️ Step 2: Store Name & Description
- Store Name
Keep it clear and relevant
(e.g. Troon Outboard Spares) - Store Description
Short and to the point:- What you sell
- Brands you deal with
- Any specialism (e.g. Johnson/Evinrude parts)
👉 This helps build trust quickly.
🖼️ Step 3: Logo & Banner
- Store Logo
Small square image (your identity) - Store Banner
Wide image across the top of your shop
👉 Even basic images are better than none—empty stores don’t sell.

Add your:
- Address (or general location)
- Country
👉 Helps with trust and shipping clarity
📞 Step 5: Contact Details
- Phone (optional)

- Handling times
👉 Be honest—this reduces refunds and complaints
📜 Step 7: Store Policies
Set clear expectations:
- Shipping Policy

- Return Policy
👉 This protects you when issues come up
🌐 Step 8: Social Links (Optional)
Add links to:

👉 Only if relevant—don’t overdo it
💾 Step 9: Save Changes
