🏷️ How to Set Up Coupons on OutboardBits
Want to shift stock faster or run a deal?
Coupons let you offer discounts and boost sales—simple as that.
⚙️ Step 1: Go to Coupons
From your vendor dashboard:
Dashboard → Coupons
In WCFM Marketplace, this is where you create and manage your discounts.
➕ Step 2: Add a New Coupon
Click “Add New”
You’ll need to fill in the basics:
- Coupon Code
(e.g.PROP10orSUMMERDEAL) - Description
(optional, just for your reference)
💸 Step 3: Set the Discount
Choose how the discount works:
- Percentage Discount
e.g. 10% off - Fixed Amount
e.g. £5 off
👉 Keep it simple—clear deals convert better.
🎯 Step 4: Apply to Products
You can control where the coupon works:
- Apply to all your products
- Or select specific items only
👉 Good for clearing slow-moving parts.
⚙️ Step 5: Set Limits (Optional but Smart)
- Expiry Date
- Usage Limit (total uses)
- Limit per customer
👉 Stops overuse and protects your margin.
🚚 Step 6: Shipping Options (Optional)
You can:
- Allow free shipping with coupon
- Or leave shipping as normal
💾 Step 7: Save and Go Live
Click Submit
Your coupon is now active and ready to use.
📢 Step 8: Tell People About It
A coupon does nothing if no one sees it.
- Add it to your product descriptions
- Mention it in your store page
- Share it with buyers directly
